The professional (hybrid) model of the neuro-headset is a complex in which the H8C wireless brain biosignal amplifier and the EyeRay mobile eye tracker in the form of glasses are integrated.

The Н8С-PRO complex is designed for a wide range of mobile research with tracking neurodynamics and visual behavior during psychological, physiological, cognitive and marketing research.

Not intended for medical use in the diagnosis or treatment of disease

  • Does not require the application of gel or saline under the electrodes for high-quality registration of brain signals (EEG);
  • EEG recording frequency - 125 Hz;
  • EEG derivation scheme - Monopolar;
  • Number of channels 8 - F3, F4, C3, C4, P3, P4, O1, O2 + GND and Rf;
  • Tracking frequency (eye image) - 50 Hz (optional 150 Hz);
  • Tracking accuracy - not less than 0.7 °;
  • Eye tracking type - binocular;
  • Scene camera - full HD with wide dynamic range;
  • Access to all parameters and raw eye tracking data (pupil size, gaze direction);
  • The eye tracker is worn like regular glasses and is compatible with lenses;
  • System weight - 450 grams;
  • Work in the Windows 10 operating environment with Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (or higher) and Android 8 and higher;
  • Duration of work in standby mode 100 days;
The kit includes: Bioamplifier with 8 dry active electrodes and dry reference and grounding electrodes in the form of ear clips and built-in Bluetooth module for signal transmission; Mobile eye tracker in the form of glasses; USB charging cable - micro-USB Software: Applied software "Cortex" for EEG registration and monitoring of the level of basic rhythms of the human brain (for Windows and Android) with an eye tracking module.

NeuroPlay connection

NeuroPlay does not connect to computer

If the LED on the back of the device flashes red, you need to put the device on charge.

If the LED blinks green frequently while data acquisition is stopped or disconnected from the computer, restart the amplifier by connecting it to the USB connector for two seconds.

The device while it is charging cannot be connected to the computer. You must disconnect it from the power supply.

If none of the above helps, shake the device, it should activate.

If the device is successfully activated, the LED will start blinking green once every three seconds.

NeuroPlay connects to the program, but after 2-3 seconds Cortex software closes

Make sure the amplifier you are using has not been connected to another computer.

Make sure that no more than one device is connected on one computer.

Possible reasons

Solution

Windows 10 OS

OS must be installed at least Windows 10

You haven't updated Windows 10 for a long time

You need to install updates and restart your PC

Outdated Bluetooth drivers

Update Bluetooth drivers

The amplifier you are using is connected to another computer

Disconnect from the other PC and reconnect to the one you intend to work on
More than one device is connected to the computer Go to Settings, Bluetooth section. Disconnect other NeuroPlay devices

 

Cortex software problems

The signal does not pass (all channels display straight, flat signal lines)

Make sure the cap or headset is well-worn (fits snugly, all electrodes fit well to the scalp)

Make sure you are wearing the Rf and GND ear electrodes.

Adjust the zoom to the optimum for displaying 30 mm/s 10 µV/mm.

Poor signal quality, noise in the program window.

Adjust the electrodes on the head, ensure good contact with the scalp, try to remove hair from the places where the electrodes come into contact with the skin.

Direct signal line on one or more channels

Check cable for breaks by shorting the problem electrode with Rf and with GND at the same time. If the signal line is straight, contact the manufacturer to replace the electrode.
